How It Works
From registration to your nikah day — four simple steps.
Register Your Interest
Complete the registration form with your details and upload your documents. The Masjid team will verify your ID and review your application.
Receive Your Credentials
You'll receive an email with your login details. Both bride and groom get separate credentials.
Complete the Course
Work through the preparation modules independently at your own pace within 7 days.
Book Your Nikah
Once both of you have completed the course, you'll receive a provisional booking to confirm, followed by your final ceremony details.

Eligibility & Legal
No. Masjid-E-Vali does not charge a fee for nikah services. Any donation towards administrative costs is entirely voluntary and not required.
Yes. Due to high demand, at least one of the parties (bride or groom) must be a resident of Blackburn. Proof of residence will be required as part of the application process.
A nikah at Masjid-E-Vali is a religious ceremony and may not be recognised as a legal marriage under UK law. Couples are responsible for completing a civil marriage registration at a UK Register Office if they wish to ensure legal recognition.
The Course
The full course consists of 5 modules and takes approximately 2–3 hours to complete. You can work through it at your own pace — there’s no need to finish in one sitting. Complete one module at a time whenever it’s convenient for you.
No. Each person completes the course independently using their own login credentials. This ensures both individuals engage with the material personally and can reflect on it in their own time.
Don’t worry — you can retry as many times as needed. The goal is understanding, not perfection. If you don’t pass, you’ll be shown which modules to review before trying again.
Yes, you’ll have 7 days from receiving your login credentials to complete the course. Failure to respond in time may void the provisional booking. If you need an extension, please contact the Masjid administration.
Nikah Day
No. Photography and videography are strictly prohibited within the Masjid premises, including the car parks. Music and decorations are also not permitted.
No food or catering is permitted within any part of the Masjid premises. If you wish to distribute sweets or favours, this must take place outside the Masjid building in the designated area.

Before Your Nikah Day
A few important things to be aware of when planning your ceremony at Masjid E Vali.
No Photography
Photography, videography, music, and decorations are not permitted within the Masjid premises, including the car parks.
No Food on Premises
Food and catering are not permitted inside the Masjid. Sweets or favours may be distributed in the designated area outside.
Blackburn Residency
At least one party must be a resident of Blackburn. Proof of address will be required during the application process.
